Be careful - be sure to ask an adult to help you when heating stuff or using ingredients you are unsure about.

Do your experiments in old yoghurt pots, jam jars or bottle tops. Don't use cups or glasses in case someone thinks it's a drink. If you want to buy any equipment a small plastic artist's palette from an art or craft shop makes a good spot test kit and chemists sell small glass bottles with droppers.
