I offer chemistry workshops and talks for all ages, demonstrating exciting experiments that students can try for themselves at home with explanation at an appropriate level. I run full day workshops of safe chemistry experiments, particularly suitable for year 6 that the students do themselves using common household chemicals and proper equipment.
In schools, I offer a full day of safe chemistry experiments for year 6 that the children do themselves using common household chemicals and proper equipment. It's all done in your classroom, with equipment provided for everyone.
I also do demonstration lectures, talks and workshops for all ages.
The workshop involves individual investigation and recording, and covers many aspects of SC1 Scientific Enquiry, plus most of the SATs Materials syllabus for key stage 2 - including evaporation, condensation, melting, dissolving, reversible reactions and states of matter.
For parents, an evening demonstration (children are welcome if you wish) of fascinating and safe chemistry experiments using common household products. All equipment and chemicals provided. 'Recipe' leaflets to take home are provided with advice on equipment and chemicals.
